Letter Ss language experience

Today, We joined with Room 1 to make mustard seed caterpillars.
Mrs Tizzard showed us how to make them. 

We took an egg carton and filled it with soil. Then we sprinkled seeds onto the soil. We put more soil on top to hide the seeds. Finally we sprayed them with water and put them in Room 3, in the sun to help them grow. 

The learning experience was to reinforce our phonics letter of Ss. 

We are all excited to see who's caterpillar grows first!! 

We made lots of mess :) 

Dupree was amazing and helped clean up the soil! Great effort Dupree- first day of school and already showing our school values :)
