November catch up

With two weeks of school left we will be busy with Christmas activities, preparing for the School Concert on the 9th, final assemblies and packing up before the holidays.

Congratulations to Safina and Piripi and Josh and Hiram who are the certificate winners for the past two weeks.

Last Monday the Junior classes went for a trip to Quail Island.  Again the weather was stunning and everyone enjoyed the boat ride and spending time on the island.

We had a super sports day on the 21st.  It was a hot day so lots of water was drunk by all.  We shared some fabulous food at lunchtime and finished off with a tug of war between the Houses.

We visited the Museum as part of our Inquiry about change.  Anthony, the museum teacher told us all about dinosaurs and showed us some models and real fossils.

Firstly Congratulations to Aurora who was the Gold Award winner for November.  Rooms 1 and 2 children performed the "Dinosaur Stomp"  at the end of assembly.  Everyone sang and stomped very well.

Wow, November has gone by very quickly.

Welcome back to term 4.

We have had a great first week at Aquagym.  It is already easy to see the children making progress in the water.  They are becoming more confident and are trying hard practising their skills.
