Week 5 update

For our Language experience this week we made shoes and put laces in them.  The children will be able to practise tieing their laces on the shoes.

On Friday we went to St Chad's for the first Gold Award of the term.  Josh was the Gold Award winner and here he is receiving his award from Miss Smith.

Atiria was chosen as the winner of the Healthy Eater Award and is seen getting her torch from Mrs Edmundson.

On Friday we said farewell to Miss Middleton who returns to continue her studies at Canterbury University.  We enjoyed having her in our class and wish her well in her teaching career.

Jack and Jill

This week we are learning the rhyme Jack and Jill.  On Monday we made Jack's sad face as our Language Experience.  The children coloured the pieces and glued them on Jack's face.  They had fun adding brown paper, a sticking plaster and googly eyes to complete the faces.

Healthy Heroes

This term our Health topic is the Rotary sponsored "Healthy Heroes" programme.  There are five challenges to complete each week.
As part of the "Stretching the MInd" challenge we have been exploring some craft activities with our buddy class.
