Zivan and his amazing handwriting!!!

We are all so proud of Zivan's beautiful handwriting today! He tried really hard to form his letters correctly and sit his letters on the line. Kei te pai te mahi Zivan :)

Vv is for volcano

This week we are learning the letter Vv!  We made a volcano on Monday using baking soda and vinegar. We put food colouring in the volcano to make it colourful!
The children have been using exciting words in their writing this week to describe what the volcano looked like. We used words like:
Bubbling
Exploded
Foam
Colourful
Eruption

Come in and see our published writing on the wall! He whakakake ratou!

We are learning to identify the number of sides on a shape

We played a game called shapes dominoes. We had to join the sides of shapes together to make the biggest puzzle. We tried to join sides of a similar size together. Our Tamariki worked well together, sharing and taking turns to put the shapes down.
