P is for pirates

Room 1 and 2 transformed themselves into pirates. We folded paper to make a hat and put on an eye patch. Don't we look great?

 

Once we looked like pirates, we went around the school following clues to find the buried treasure! 

Dupree found a clue on Miss Smiths desk!

The treasure was lots of golden chocolate coins. We each got to take one home! Yum!!

The pirate treasure hunt was all about our learning of the letter Pp. The children did some great writing about their treasure hunt. Pop on into Room 2 to read it.
